Nando's Pride
Seven races in and still waiting for that first taste of success — Nando's Pride has had a tough time of it so far. The three-year-old has not managed a win or even a place finish across all seven outings, and recent form figures of 13-8-8-9-4-7 tell a story of a horse that has mostly been running towards the back of the field. That fourth-place finish stands out as the closest it has come to troubling the judge, but it remains the solitary flicker of promise in an otherwise difficult campaign.Based on TrackLab's analysis

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
Trained by Mark Loughnane at Rock Farm in Worcestershire, Nando's Pride is at least in capable hands. Loughnane's yard has sent out 25 winners already this season, which shows this is an operation that knows how to get horses performing. The fact that Nando's Pride hasn't clicked yet doesn't reflect on the stable's ability — some horses simply take time to find their feet, and a yard firing at this rate will back themselves to unlock improvement eventually.
Having raced just yesterday, this is very much a horse in active training and presumably being placed with purpose. At three years old, there is still time for things to turn around. Whether Nando's Pride eventually finds a race it can get competitive in remains to be seen, but with a busy team behind it and youth on its side, the story isn't over yet.
