Win rate and top-3 rate will show once this horse has raced.
The horse is trained by Michael J McDonagh at Shannon in County Clare. McDonagh's yard has sent out 5 winners already this season, which indicates a competent operation getting results. N Kelleher is by the stallion Ocovango out of a Kalanisi mare, a bloodline combination that at least shows some thought in the breeding.
Beyond that, there is nothing to go on — no track record, no winning pattern, no sense of what this horse can do against rivals. That makes the debut a genuine mystery, and also makes it one of those rare racing moments where no one, not even the the yard, truly knows what will happen when the gate opens. It will be interesting to see what Michael J McDonagh has been waiting for.
