My Mate Fitz
My Mate Fitz is a two-year-old still finding his feet on the racecourse. The horse has been out three times without a win or a place to show for it, finishing fifth, sixth, and fourth in his recent outings. He's been busy, though — his last race was just a day ago — and he's still learning the game under trainer
Kevin Ryan at Hambleton in North Yorkshire.

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
Ryan's yard has been in cracking form this season with 45 winners already, so there's clearly decent horsemanship on hand. For a young horse still winless after three attempts, that kind of setup counts for something. My Mate Fitz may not be winning yet, but the stable around him knows what it's doing.
