My First Rose
My First Rose is a three-year-old trained by
D K Weld at the Curragh in County Kildare, and so far the horse has found racing tough. In four outings, My First Rose has yet to break through and record a win, finishing outside the top three in every attempt. The most recent races tell the story: a seventh-place finish last time out came after efforts of sixth and eighth in the two races before that, suggesting the horse is still searching for its level.

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
Weld's yard is in good form this season with 21 winners already, so the trainer clearly knows how to get horses to the winner's circle. My First Rose raced just yesterday, which means the horse is being kept active and will likely be given more opportunities to find its form. With only four races under its belt and no success yet, there is still time for this young horse to develop and discover where it might be competitive.
