My Boo Boo

The recent form tells an interesting story. My Boo Boo came home second just days ago, then ninth before that, then second again. So there's been a win sandwiched between three top-3 finishes in the last four outings. That's one win and three second or third-place finishes from four races overall, a record that suggests a horse capable of running consistently well but still learning the ropes. The Brighton victory, though, proves it can get the job done when everything clicks into place.

Brian Toomey's yard at Chalfont St Giles has sent out ten winners this season, so the horse is in a yard that knows how to develop young talent and get them to the finish line. With My Boo Boo back racing just a day after that second-place finish, it is clearly a horse the team wants to keep active and learning. At two years old, that regular racing is valuable education.
