Moyanna is a five-year-old returning to racing after a seven-month absence, and there is not much of a record to work with yet. The horse has run once, finishing third, without finding the winner's circle.
Tom George, who trains at Slad in Gloucestershire, has had a decent season with seven winners from his yard, so there is active form in the stable. That long break away from racing will be the key question — whether Moyanna comes back as sharp as before or needs a race or two to rediscover its rhythm. The one outing so far gives very little away about where this horse truly belongs or what it might be capable of, but the trainer's stable form suggests there is at least some competitive edge to work with.
