Moonlight Ballet

Moonlight Ballet has yet to trouble the scoreboard in two career races, finishing seventh most recently and fourth before that. The four-year-old is trained by Susan Gardner at Longdown in Devon, a yard that has already sent out seven winners this season, so the infrastructure for success is clearly in place. With only a pair of races under its belt, there is still time for improvement, though the pattern so far suggests the horse has not yet found the key to competing at the level it has been tested. Gardner's yard is actively campaigning the horse — it raced just a day ago — which means the yard believe there is something worth pursuing.
