Moofeed has run just once so far, finishing sixth on its debut a day ago. As a two-year-old still finding its way, there is not much to go on yet. The horse is trained by Archie Watson at Upper Lambourn in Berkshire, a yard that has already sent out 62 winners this season, so there is genuine competence behind the scenes. What happens next will tell us whether this first outing was simply a learning experience or a sign of things to come.
