Her one career win came at Fairyhouse in January 2024, and it left a strong impression on jockey Paul Townend, who described her as a simple ride with a lovely attitude and brilliant jumping — polish she had picked up from her time in France. He also noted that she stays well, meaning she handles longer distances comfortably, which is a genuinely useful trait. The trouble is, that win is now 28 months in the rear-view mirror, and her last six races have produced nothing better than a fourth place, with a couple of runs that didn't even earn a finishing position in the frame.
The form figures make for uncomfortable reading — 8, 6, 4, then three blanks — and there is no obvious upward curve to point to. What is interesting, though, is a comment Elliott made during a stable tour in late 2024, when she was still four years old. He said she looked physically big enough to jump a fence but would probably stay over hurdles for now while she continued to develop. She is now six, which means that conversation about switching to a bigger test over fences may well come back around. Sometimes a horse finds a new gear when the fences go up, and given Townend's praise for her jumping, it is not a stretch to think that could suit her. For now, she remains a horse with one good day on her record and a yard capable of finding another.
