That single win came at Fairyhouse on 13 January 2024, and by all accounts it was a polished performance. Jockey Paul Townend described her afterwards as "a simple ride" — high praise from a professional, because a horse that does not fight its rider and finds its own rhythm is exactly the kind of animal that teams love to work with. Townend also noted she jumped brilliantly, crediting experience she had picked up racing in France, and said she stays really well, meaning she keeps finding more energy late in a race rather than fading. That combination — a good jumper with stamina and a willing attitude — is a useful package.

The tricky part is that the win is now 30 months in the rearview mirror, and her recent form makes for sobering reading. Looking at her last six races, her finishing positions include a third, a fifth, and a twentieth, with three runs where she did not finish at all. That sequence tells a story of inconsistency rather than steady improvement, and the gap since her last victory is long enough to raise a question mark over when, or whether, another win is coming.

Gordon Elliott's yard is one of the most powerful operations in Irish racing — 210 winners this season alone — so Miss Manzor is competing for her place in a busy string. Elliott noted back in November 2024 that she looks physically capable of jumping fences but that the plan was to keep her over hurdles for the time being. Now that she is six, that conversation may well be revisited. A switch to a new discipline can sometimes revive a horse that has gone a little flat in its current routine, and given what Townend said about her jumping, there is a reasonable argument that fences could suit her. For now, she remains a horse with one good day on her record and a yard capable of finding her another.
