Her one win and two placed finishes from seven races works out to a win rate of roughly one in every seven attempts, which for a two-year-old is respectable rather than stellar. She is trained by Charlie Fellowes at Newmarket, a yard that has already saddled 21 winners this season, so she is in experienced hands. What makes her interesting is her consistency in staying competitive — she has only run outside the first three places twice in her last six races, which suggests she belongs in races against horses of her ability, even if converting those near-misses into wins remains a work in progress. At just two years old, there is clearly time for improvement, and with the yard firing on all cylinders this season, Miss Lizzy may well add to her tally before the year is out.
