Miss Ivor

Trained by P O'Rourke at a modest yard in Wexford, Miss Ivor is part of a team that has managed just one winner all season. At three years old, she still has time for improvement, but nine races without a win is a warning flag. The consistent placings lower down the order — finishing between sixth and twelfth — indicate she has the stamina and constitution to complete her races, but lacks either the speed or the tactical placement needed to challenge for victory. Until something changes in her approach or her physical condition, Miss Ivor looks to be one of those horses whose main value may lie not on the track but in what comes after racing.
