Miss Guinevere

Her recent form tells the story of a horse still finding her feet. In her last six races, she has finished as high as third but also as low as ninth, which shows inconsistency—the kind of up-and-down form typical of a younger horse still working out what she's capable of. She was last on the track just a day ago and is clearly active in the yard, which means Charlie Fellowes, her trainer at Newmarket, is still looking for the right opportunity to click. Fellowes has had a decent season with 21 winners sent out, so there is know-how in the yard to get a horse sorted when the moment arrives.

For now, Miss Guinevere remains a horse in development. Two placings in six races is a decent foundation, but the gaps between those runs and the lower finishes suggest she has not yet found her form consistently. She is still young, still racing regularly, and still in a yard with experience. The win will come—or it won't—but she is certainly being given the chances to find it.
