Miss Gallant
Miss Gallant has made a bright start to her racing career, winning on debut at Southwell back in early July and already picking up a second place finish from just three races. The 3-year-old is trained by
Marco Botti at his Newmarket yard, where things are clearly going well — the stable has already sent out 45 winners this season. That first win came seven weeks ago, and while she hasn't quite recaptured that form recently, finishing seventh, first, and fourth in her last three outings, she remains an active and improving prospect.

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
What's encouraging is that debut victory. Not every horse wins first time out, so Miss Gallant showed real promise right away at Southwell. She's won 1 of her 3 races — a win rate of roughly 1 in every 3 — and with a place finish alongside that, she's been in the frame in two-thirds of her races so far. At three years old, there's plenty of time for a horse like this to develop and find her best level. Whether she's ready to notch up another win soon remains to be seen, but she's clearly a horse the yard believes in enough to keep running regularly.
