Miss Donna

The recent form tells a difficult story. Looking at her last six races — finishing tenth, fourth, eighth, then unplaced in three more — there is a pattern of mid-pack efforts and the occasional disappearing act. A fourth-place finish suggests she can get involved when things click, but she has not been able to kick on from those moments and turn promise into a result. With zero wins from seven races, the honest assessment is that she has yet to find her moment.

What is worth watching is that she raced just yesterday, so she is clearly in an active spell of training and her the yard are still finding opportunities for her. Sometimes horses take time to mature, and sometimes the right race simply has not come along yet. Whether Miss Donna falls into that category or is simply finding life competitive at her level remains to be seen — but she is still out there trying, and in racing, that counts for something.
