Miss Donna

Her recent form makes for mixed reading. In her last six races she has picked up a third place, which shows she can get competitive, but she has also had a couple of pulled-up or non-completing runs alongside a sixth and an eighth. That kind of inconsistency is the tricky part — there is clearly enough ability there to hit the frame occasionally, but not yet the consistency to turn those moments into victories.

She ran just yesterday, so she is very much an active horse with more chances ahead. Whether the team can find the right conditions to finally unlock that first win remains to be seen, but at five years old she is not short of time to figure it out.
