The recent form makes for tough reading. Finishing positions of 13th, 15th, 14th, 6th, and 8th across the last five completed races suggest a horse that is consistently beaten a long way, though that sixth-place finish hints at at least one day when things clicked slightly better. It raced just yesterday, so Coleman clearly has it fit and active — the answers may still come with more racing and experience.
Coleman's yard is not short of confidence this season, having sent out 10 winners already, so the know-how is there. Whether Miners Cabin can eventually translate that into a win of its own remains the question. For now, it is a horse that needs something to go right.
