Million Dollar Man has yet to break his duck after four races, though a second-place finish shows he is competitive at his current level. The five-year-old, trained by
Gavin Cromwell at Navan, ran most recently a day ago and finished sixth, extending a patchy run of form that includes a place but no wins. His last four efforts — 16th, unplaced, 21st, and that sixth — suggest he is still searching for the right race and conditions to get off the mark. Cromwell's yard is having a strong season with 96 winners so far, so there is no shortage of expertise in the corner, but Million Dollar Man himself remains a maiden on the scorecard. Given his age and experience, the yard will be hoping a change of track or distance might unlock something better than what we have seen so far.
