Trained by the father-and-son partnership of Michael and David Easterby at their Sheriff Hutton yard in North Yorkshire, Milford Grange is at least in capable hands. With 55 winners sent out already this season, the yard is clearly in good form — so when Milford Grange does finally convert one of those placed efforts into a victory, the team around it will know exactly what they are doing. Having raced as recently as yesterday, this is a horse very much in active campaign, and with four places already banked, a first win feels less like a question of whether and more a question of when.
