Midfield Magic is a five-year-old horse still searching for its first win, having run twice without placing in either race. The most recent outing, just a day ago, saw it finish ninth, while the run before that produced a fourth-place finish — so there are signs of modest improvement, at least. The horse races for trainer
Gavin Cromwell's yard at Navan, which has been in good form this season with 96 winners to its name, suggesting it has the support of a competent operation. Whether Midfield Magic has the ability to break through and get off the mark remains to be seen, but it is still active and getting racing regularly enough that another opportunity should come soon.
