Method Or Manner made his racing debut a day ago and finished seventh in his first race. The 3-year-old is trained by
Jack Foley at Bagenalstown in County Carlow, a yard that has already sent out four winners this season. With only one race under his belt, there is nothing yet to suggest where this horse might fit in the wider picture — whether he needs more time, better ground conditions, or simply a different race shape to show what he can do. Early form at this stage is often misleading, and many horses improve sharply after their first outing once they understand what racing demands.
