Having that kind of support behind a horse who has only just started to show what she can do is encouraging.

Her recent form reads 7-5-1-10-4-5 going back through her last six races, which means a win sandwiched between some modest efforts on either side. The 10th-place finish in there is the kind of result that can happen when a horse runs somewhere that doesn't suit, or simply has a bad day — it doesn't necessarily define her. What is worth noting is that she raced just yesterday, meaning she is very much in active training and her the yard are keeping her busy. Whether that Musselburgh win, now 18 months in the rearview mirror, can be built upon is the question — but the fact that her best distance record is genuinely strong gives a real reason to think there is another good day coming.
