Medusa King
Medusa King is a 3-year-old who has made two appearances so far and is still waiting for that first moment of promise. Finishing 14th and 13th in those outings, the early signs have been modest — but two races is barely enough to form a judgement on any young horse, and plenty have taken time to find their feet.Based on TrackLab's analysis

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
What works in Medusa King's favour is the yard behind the horse. Trained by Mrs John Harrington out of Moone in Co Kildare, Medusa King is in genuinely accomplished hands. The stable has sent out 58 winners already this season — that is a high-functioning operation that knows how to get horses ready to perform. When a yard of that quality keeps a horse in training after a slow start, it usually means they believe there is something worth developing.
Having raced just yesterday, Medusa King is clearly an active project right now. The story is at a very early chapter, and the most interesting question is simply whether those first two runs were a horse finding its way — or an accurate picture of where the ceiling lies.
