Meccapulco

Meccapulco is a two-year-old making its first steps in racing under trainer Michael Dods at Piercebridge in County Durham. The horse made its debut just a day ago and finished fifth in its opening race—a decent enough starting point for a young horse at this level of the game. With only one race under its belt, there is very little to judge yet, but Dods's yard has had a strong season, sending out 43 winners so far, so the horse is in the hands of a trainer who clearly knows how to get horses running well. Time will tell whether Meccapulco develops into something better as it gains more experience on the track.
