The recent form makes for difficult reading. His last six races have produced finishes of 6th, 5th, 8th, 9th, 6th, and 4th — with that fourth place the closest he has come to a payout for anyone watching. He raced just yesterday, so he is clearly active and being given every chance to find his feet. The fact that he keeps turning up is something, at least.
At Class 4, which is solidly mid-level racing, he has run three times and drawn a blank in all three. That is not necessarily a disaster — plenty of horses find their level eventually — but 11 races is a decent sample size, and so far nothing has clicked. The team will be hoping that the fourth place last time out is a sign of improvement rather than a one-off. Until he converts that into something tangible, Mc'flo remains one for the notebook rather than the betting slip.
