The overall numbers show a horse capable but inconsistent. Two wins and three places from 11 races means Mayberry Moon finishes in the money (winning or placing) roughly half the time, which is respectable without being brilliant. When competing in Class 5 races, the level where it spends most of its time, the horse has won two of seven — a 29% win rate that suggests it belongs at this level. Recent form has been patchy. After a solid third place finish four races ago, the runs have been unremarkable: seventh, fifth, fourth, eleventh, and ninth before that last promising fourth just days ago.

Where Mayberry Moon really shines is with jockey Connor Beasley in the saddle. The pair have won two of five races together — a 40% win rate that is substantially better than the horse's overall record. Both of those wins came at Carlisle, suggesting the partnership clicks at that particular track. Thomas Faulkner's Monmouth-based yard has been productive this season with 16 winners, so the horse is in a stable with momentum. If Mayberry Moon is to add to its tally, everything points to watching it back at Carlisle with Beasley aboard.
