The whole operation is trained by George Baker at Epsom Downs in Surrey — a yard that has been in decent form this season, having sent out 14 winners. A trainer with that kind of momentum tends to know when a horse is ready, and Massimo Blue raced just one day ago, meaning this is very much an active campaign. Whether the horse can build on October's win and string results together is the question worth watching. The talent seems to flicker into view just often enough to keep everyone interested.
