Marian Place

Marian Place is a five-year-old returning to the track after nearly ten months away. The horse made a single race appearance, finishing seventh, before being taken out of action. Now trained by C Byrnes at Ballingarry in County Limerick, Marian Place is ready to race again under a yard that has already sent out 26 winners this season — a sign the trainer knows how to get horses to the finish line in front. Whether the long break will have done the horse good or taken the edge off remains to be seen, but Byrnes clearly thinks there is enough there worth running.
