That win came at Pontefract on 21 April 2026, and it remains the defining moment of her career to date. Pontefract is a quirky, undulating track in West Yorkshire that catches some horses out — it rewards those who handle a unique uphill finish — so winning there first time out at a track like that is worth noting. Since then, her form has been patchier: a fourth, then the win, then a tenth, and most recently a fifth. That dip after the victory is not unusual for a young horse; two-year-olds are learning with every run, and the industry expects them to be inconsistent.
She's trained by Lemos Souza out of Newmarket, the heartland of British flat racing, and the yard has been in good form this season with 19 winners already on the board. That's the kind of background that gives a young horse every chance to develop properly. With Margaret's Pearl having raced as recently as yesterday, she's clearly being kept busy, and there may well be more to come from her before the season is out.
