What we do know is the breeding. Manhatane is by Bathyrhon and out of a mare by Poliglote, making this a horse with some European pedigree behind it. Whether that translates into ability on the track is the question that only racing will answer. At four years old, Manhatane is coming to the game a little later than many horses, which occasionally hints at a yard that has taken its time rather than rushing a youngster into action — though it is impossible to say more than that without the results to back it up.
