Mane Attraction

Trained by Norman Lee at a small yard in Gort, County Galway, Mane Attraction represents the kind of consistent but unrewarded effort that tests a trainer's patience. The yard has managed just a single winner this entire season, so resources and opportunities are limited. For a horse at six years old still without a win, time is becoming a factor—racing is ultimately about results, and the longer a horse goes without tasting victory, the harder it becomes to justify the expense of keeping it in training. Mane Attraction's recent form offers little encouragement, with no wins in the last five races and several finishes well down the field. Whether the horse will finally find a race within its reach, or whether its racing days are numbered, remains to be seen.
