Both victories have come at Leopardstown, most recently on 12 September 2026. The first win came on 9 July at the same track, suggesting this horse has found a course it really suits. Leopardstown clearly brings out the best in Maire Rua, and that kind of track preference is worth noting — some horses simply run better at certain places, and when you find one, it's worth remembering. Trainer G M Lyons, based at Dunsany in County Meath, has built a strong season with 43 winners so far, and Maire Rua is shaping up as one of the yard's bright young prospects.
