Mags Ocean

Mags Ocean is a four-year-old horse returning to racing after a four-month absence, trained by Dan Skelton's powerful Alcester yard. The horse has run just once in its career, finishing third in that sole outing 149 days ago. With no wins and a single place from a single race, there is little form to speak of, but Skelton's operation — which has sent out 187 winners this season — suggests the horse has the backing and expertise of a serious training establishment. Whether Mags Ocean will find the track again soon, and what level it might be aimed at, remains to be seen.
