Madame Passant

Madame Passant is still hunting for that first victory. The 3-year-old has run seven times without finding the winner's circle, though she did manage a place finish that shows she can get close to the frame. A tenth and a twenty-first in her last six outings show the gulf between a decent day and a poor one can be wide. With one race completed in the last day, she remains active and in regular work, which means the yard are still hunting for the right spot to break her duck. At three years old she is still young enough for improvement, though the longer a horse goes without winning, the harder it becomes to find that breakthrough moment.
