Madame Dragon
Madame Dragon is a four-year-old who has made one appearance so far and is very much at the beginning of her story. In that single race, she finished eighth, which is not the start anyone would have hoped for, but one run tells you very little — horses can have bad days, just like anyone else.Based on TrackLab's analysis

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
Her trainer is Polly Gundry, who operates out of Ottery St Mary in Devon. Gundry's yard has already sent out four winners this season, which shows there is genuine ability in that stable. Getting horses ready to race from a Devon base requires real dedication, and Gundry has built a quiet reputation for doing exactly that. With Madame Dragon having raced just one day ago, there will clearly be more to come from this partnership, and it would be far too early to draw any conclusions from a single eighth-place finish.
