Lunar Stride burst onto the track at Punchestown just this week with a debut victory that marks the beginning of what could be a promising career. The three-year-old, trained by
Gavin Cromwell at Navan, has so far won every time it has stepped onto a racecourse — a perfect 1-for-1 record that, while early days, is exactly what any trainer hopes to see from a young horse making its first appearance. Cromwell's yard has been in excellent form this season, already sending out 96 winners, so there is clear expertise behind this newcomer. With a race win already under its belt and clearly being trained by a handler with proven skill at getting horses ready for competition, Lunar Stride has made a winning start to its racing life.
