Luminessa

Her recent form reads as a string of mid-pack finishes, with a couple of fifth places and a seventh among her last six outings. That is the profile of a horse still finding her feet rather than one who has found her level, and at three years old there is plenty of time for that to change. She raced just yesterday, so whatever is coming next is not far away.

She is trained by Jack W Davison out of Dunboyne in County Meath, a yard that has sent out eight winners already this season. That is a stable in decent working order, and it suggests Luminessa is in capable hands even if she has not yet rewarded them with a victory of her own.
