Longmoor

Longmoor is a 4-year-old horse in training with Joe Tizzard at Milborne Port in Dorset, a yard that has been in fine form this season with 52 winners to its name. The horse has run three times without winning, though it did finish in the top 3 once — a single podium finish from three attempts. Recent form shows improvement, with a sixth-place finish followed by a fourth, then a third just yesterday, suggesting the horse is finding its feet. That last top-3 finish came after only a day's break, which points to a horse that's race-fit and being campaigned regularly by Tizzard's team. Whether Longmoor will break through to the winner's circle remains to be seen, but the upward trajectory in those final three outings is at least encouraging to watch.
