Lion Of Fortune
Lion Of Fortune is a two-year-old starting out in racing, having made a single appearance on the track one day ago. The horse finished eleventh in that debut race, which is a common experience for young thoroughbreds finding their feet in competitive racing. There is nothing unusual about a first runner not placing in the money — most horses need time to learn how to race before they can win.Based on TrackLab's analysis

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
The horse is trained by Kieran P Cotter at Portarlington in County Laois. Cotter's yard has been in decent form this season, sending out six winners already, suggesting the trainer knows how to get horses ready for the track. How Lion Of Fortune develops from this first run will depend on whether Cotter believes the horse has the ability and temperament to improve, and what races the trainer targets next. For now, it is simply too early to say what this young horse might become.
