Likira Rose

Likira Rose is a two-year-old still finding her feet on the track. She has raced twice without a win or a place finish, most recently running ninth at her last outing just a day ago, having finished sixth before that. For a young horse this early in her career, a spell of racing without success is not unusual — plenty of two-year-olds need several attempts before they work out what is being asked of them. Whether Likira Rose will break through soon or needs more time to develop remains to be seen, but the fact that Jardine is keeping her in action suggests he sees enough in her to persist.
