What makes this run even more impressive is the speed of it. Most two-year-olds need time to learn the ropes, but Lex Victoria has shown up, raced, and conquered twice in quick succession. The fact that it won at two different tracks, Newmarket and Kempton, hints that this isn't a horse that relies on one particular course suiting it — it adapts and performs wherever it runs.
Lex Victoria is trained by Simon & Ed Crisford at their Newmarket yard, a stable that has been firing on all cylinders this season with 78 winners already. That's the kind of operation where a promising young horse gets the best preparation and care. A 100% win rate at any stage of a racing career is unusual enough to turn heads, but when it comes from a two-year-old this early in the season, it's worth paying attention to.
