Tom Lacey, based at Woolhope in Herefordshire, handles the training duties, and his yard has been in seriously good nick this season — 37 winners and counting, which is the kind of output that tells you this is a well-run operation with horses arriving at the track ready to run. Stan Sheppard is the regular partner in the saddle, having ridden Let's Sail Away in nine of its eleven races.
