Leo Messy

Trainer Thomas Gibney, who operates from his yard at Trim in County Meath, has Leo Messy as part of a team that has managed five winners this season. That said, Leo Messy himself remains one of the more challenging horses in the stable to get into the winner's enclosure. At six years old, he is past his early promise years, and time is beginning to matter. Without a win to his name from six attempts, he will need to show genuine improvement soon to justify continued investment. For now, Leo Messy remains a work in progress — a horse the yard will be keen to crack, but one who has yet to give them reason to believe a breakthrough is imminent.
