There is, however, reason not to write Le Beau Gosse off entirely. That is a yard clearly doing something right, and having that kind of operation behind a horse matters — these are trainers who know how to place horses and get them ready to win. Le Beau Gosse raced just 18 days ago, so it is very much an active project, and the team has clearly not given up on finding the right opportunity. Sometimes it just takes a horse a little longer to click, and with a capable yard in its corner, the hope will be that the right race at the right moment is still out there waiting.
