Laxxio

Laxxio is a five-year-old still searching for that first career win. In six races to date, the horse has picked up two places but hasn't crossed the line first, and recent form offers little encouragement—a string of fourth, third, third, fourth and two more mid-field finishes across the last six outings. Most recently out just a day ago, Laxxio is clearly being kept active by trainer Anthony Mullins at Gowran in County Kilkenny, a yard that has been competitive this season with nine winners already sent out. Whether those near-misses represent a horse getting closer or simply treading water remains to be seen.
