Lavender Bay
Lavender Bay is a 2-year-old still finding her feet on the track. She has raced once so far, finishing sixth, and is trained by
James Fanshawe at his Newmarket yard. Fanshawe's operation is in good form this season with 44 winners already to his name, suggesting the young horse is in a capable setup with horses regularly reaching the winners' enclosure.

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
At this early stage of her racing career, a single run tells you very little. Young horses improve significantly between their first and second race, and a sixth-place finish is nothing unusual for a 2-year-old testing themselves in competition for the first time. With the trainer's track record of getting winners on the board, Lavender Bay will have plenty of opportunity to develop and show what she can do as the season progresses.
