The pattern of his racing reveals something interesting: Lakers typically competes at the highest class level in his category (Class 2), but he has never won at that standard, losing all three attempts. His wins have come at lower-tier races, which tells you something honest about where he belongs in the racing pyramid. He broke his duck at Ffos Las back in July 2024 and has won twice more since, but the gap between that Southwell victory in October 2025 and now is long enough to suggest he is either struggling to find a suitable race, or simply has not had the luck required to get back in the winner's enclosure. Still active and still being run, he remains a horse doing what he was bred to do—racing competitively without setting the world alight.
