The win and runner-up finish at the end of it showed a horse in form; the string of disappointing efforts since then suggests she has found it harder to reproduce that level consistently. The challenge for her trainer Jedd O'Keeffe will be figuring out when and where she can get back to her best.

That win came at Beverley on 24 August 2025, a track in East Yorkshire that stages plenty of competitive racing for horses at exactly Lady Hornblower's level. She has done her best work in Class 4 races — one step below the big prize money but still a genuine test — winning 1 from 3 at that level, or 1 in every 3 attempts, which is an encouraging ratio. She raced just yesterday, so she is clearly being kept busy, and with O'Keeffe placing her carefully and Garritty knowing her well by now, a return to form is not out of the question.
