Her recent form is the most eye-catching thing about her right now. Reading her last six results from most recent backwards — a win, an unplaced run, a second place, then finishes of eighth, twelfth, and sixth — you can see a horse that was struggling badly in the middle of that sequence and has since turned a corner sharply. Going from twelfth to second to a winner's enclosure visit in the space of a few runs is a real improvement, and it happened fast.

That latest win came at Killarney just this week, which means Ladies Well heads into whatever comes next on the back of a confidence-boosting performance on fresh legs. Her first career win came at Ballinrobe back in August 2025, so she now has victories at two different tracks, which suggests she is not simply a horse that suits one particular course or set of conditions.

She is trained by Andrew Slattery, who operates out of Thurles in County Tipperary. With 62 winners already on the board this season, Slattery is clearly running a yard in fine form — and a trainer sending out that volume of winners tends to know when a horse is ready to perform. Jockey Cian Quirke has been her regular partner, riding her in 9 of her 12 races and winning once together, a rate of roughly 1 in every 9 rides. That partnership has not always clicked, but the combination of a fit horse, a in-form yard, and a familiar jockey is exactly the kind of setup that can produce a run of results. Ladies Well raced just yesterday, so the yard will be deciding what comes next — but right now, she is a horse worth keeping an eye on.
