The overall numbers tell a good story on their own. Six wins and nine placed efforts from 21 races, a win rate of 29% — roughly 3 in every 10 races — is comfortably above average for a horse competing at Class 6, the bread-and-butter level of British racing. But the last six runs are where things get genuinely interesting: three wins, a second, a sixth, and a tenth. That dip in the middle looks like a brief interruption rather than a warning sign, because the horse has bounced straight back to winning.

Distance matters enormously in racing, and Krissy has found its sweet spot. At a mile and one furlong to a mile and two furlongs — roughly a lap and a bit — the horse has won 4 of its 6 races at that trip. That 67% win rate is exceptional. It suggests a trainer who has done the homework and knows exactly where to place this horse to give it the best chance.

That trainer is Jim Goldie, working out of Uplawmoor in Lanarkshire. With 88 winners sent out this season alone, Goldie's yard is in superb form, and Krissy looks like one of its more reliable tools. When jockey Rhys Elliott takes the ride, the partnership has an even sharper edge — three wins from six races together, meaning Elliott has been aboard for half of Krissy's career victories. A 50% win rate between a horse and jockey is the kind of stat that makes you sit up.

Krissy first won at Newcastle back in November 2025. Less than seven months later, it has turned into one of the more consistent performers in its division, with a course it clearly loves and a team that knows how to keep it winning.
