The recent form tells an interesting story. A third-place finish was followed by a tough run finishing 25th, and then a sixth most recently — so the direction of travel is mixed rather than clearly upward. Horses this age can be wildly inconsistent as they find their feet, and a single bad race in the middle of a sequence does not necessarily mean much. Still, there is work to do.

She ran just yesterday, so she is clearly an active racer right now. Trainer Henry Dwyer has had one winner from his yard this season — a modest return so far — which means Kochella's first win would be a meaningful moment for the whole team when it eventually comes.
