Koa Beau
Koa Beau is a five-year-old with just one race under its belt so far, finishing third on its only outing — a promising enough start, even if the winner's enclosure remains a target for another day. That debut third place at least shows the horse is competitive and capable of mixing it with others at this early stage of its career.Based on TrackLab's analysis

Our model's view, based on this horse's career and recent runs
What makes Koa Beau worth keeping an eye on is the team behind it. Trainer Ewan Whillans operates out of Hawick in the Scottish Borders, and his yard has sent out 28 winners already this season — a serious tally that tells you this is not a small operation making up the numbers. Whillans clearly knows how to place a horse and get the best out of it, which bodes well for a young horse still finding its feet in the sport. With only one race to its name and last seen on the track just yesterday, Koa Beau's story is very much still being written.
